My dad Bill jarvis had a great friend in the Navy who he lost contact with when he left, Jacky Bryant. For years every day my parents faithfully watched Anglia News. They found out that Jacky had last been living in the Norwich area, so we wrote to the local newspaper. We received a reply from Jacky Bryants daughter sadly to say that he had died about 2 years earlier, also saying he had been working for Anglia News for about 15 years. My dad allways regreted he had left it just a little bit too late. So come on Shipmates make those contacts now, someone out there would probably love to hear from you
